Artist Statement - Some Creative Input

Artist Statement

"My work explores the relationship between multiculturalism and life as performance.
With influences as diverse as Kafka and Miles Davis, new insights are created from both explicit and implicit structures.
Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the moment. What starts out as hope soon becomes corrupted into a hegemony of distress, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the prospect of a new understanding.
As shimmering derivatives become frozen through diligent and academic practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the possibilities of our world."
